The new account management agreement
What the agreement is about
The account management agreement is an important legal document that explains your rights and obligations as a National Bank accountholder.
Why we revised the agreement
The financial sector has changed enormously in the last few years with many new innovations affecting the way you manage your accounts. We therefore decided it was important to revise the agreement to underscore the key aspects of account management in language that is clear and easy to understand.
Several accounts, one agreement
The new agreement is the main reference for information about your rights and obligations related to managing your investment, transaction, and margin accounts with National Bank, Natcan Trust Company and National Bank Trust.
To get a copy of the agreement
Consulting the new agreement is easy. It is available:
The agreement can be ordered by telephone until June 19, after which it will only be available in branches and on the Bank’s website.
By continuing to use your account after the agreement goes into effect on June 19, 2006, you accept the amendments made to it.
