INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

Natcan Investment Management, a Montreal-based investment adviser and subsidiary of National Bank of Canada, is responsible for managing all National Bank Mutual Funds.
Founded in 1990, Natcan has close to $25 billion in assets under management and currently ranks among Canada's leading pension fund managers. Natcan's investment philosophy favours a versatile approach where value, capital preservation and discipline are key. Selexia Investment Management is Natcan’s exclusive partner in the management of institutional Canadian large-cap equity mandates.

Selexia was founded in 2008 by Natcan co-founder and Vice-chairman Jacques Chartrand. Mr. Chartrand leads the Selexia team assisted by Claude Boulos and Benoit Brillon, two managers with whom he has worked for many years. The team also relies on the expertise of a special analyst who monitors stocks and related news, reviews independent brokerage reports and shares ideas and recommendations with the rest of the team.
