Scuba challenge at parc Jean-Drapeau:
National Bank invites media presentatives to dive into diversity
Montreal, 12 June 2006 -
National Bank would like to invite representatives from the media to attend a scuba diving demonstration at the competition pool in the aquatic complex at Parc Jean-Drapeau, today at 11 : 30 a.m.
For the occasion, several athletes from Défi sportif who have physical or sensory disabilities and members of the Bank’s senior management will take the plunge. The activity is part of National Bank’s Diversity Week, organized to raise awareness of the importance of diversity among our employees and to reduce prejudice in the workplace.
The event will be hosted by none other than Sylvie Fréchette, Olympic gold medalist in synchronized smimming. Jean-Marie Lapointe, Défi sportif spokesperson, will also be present.
