National Bank Employees lend a hand to the Women’s Centre of Montreal
Montreal, 16 June 2006 -
As part of a week devoted to diversity in the workplace, National Bank employees attended a theme lunch where $1 from each meal purchased was donated to the Women’s Centre of Montreal. A total of $1,011 was raised for this organization, which offers frontline services to socially, psychologically and economically disadvantaged women, women seeking employment and immigrant women.
The activity was held as part of National Bank’s Diversity Week, organized to raise awareness of the importance of diversity among employees and the general public and to reduce prejudice in the workplace.
