INVITATION TO THE MEDIA
National Bank of Canada is pleased to invite representatives of the media to its Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, 900 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, Montreal.
Journalists who wish to attend are asked to go to the media check-in on the Mezzanine level before proceeding to the Grand Salon on the Convention Floor for the meeting. Please note that use of photographic, recording or television equipment will not be allowed, except for a five-minute period before the meeting .
The Mackenzie Room, located on the Convention Floor, will be set up for journalists, particularly those from the electronic media. Live audio and video feeds of all the proceedings will be available. Television journalists should bring the equipment needed to record a 75 ohm signal as well as cables complying with the Bank’s standards.
After the meeting, members of the Bank’s senior management will meet with the media in the Mackenzie Room.
For media representatives outside Montreal, the press conference will be interactive and accessible via conference call. Simultaneous interpretation will be available. A media advisory will be released on CCN Matthews 15 minutes before the press conference begins.
