Invitation to members of the media to attend the Annual Meeting of National Bank of Canada

Montreal, 23 February 2009 - 

National Bank of Canada is pleased to invite representatives of the media to its Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Quebec City Convention Centre, 900, Honoré Mercier Avenue, in Quebec.

Journalists who wish to attend are asked to go to the press table, before proceeding to the room 2000 A & B for the meeting. Please note that use of photographic, recording or television equipment will not be allowed, except for a five-minute period before the meeting.

Live audio feeds will be available for recording in all the rooms.

After the meeting, members of the Bank’s senior management will meet with the media inthe room 2101.

Out-of-town media
For the journalists who can’t be present, the press conference will be interactive and accessible via conference call. Simultaneous interpretation will be available.
