National Bank Financial Group recovers used tennis balls

Montreal, 30 April 2009 -

National Bank Financial Group is continuing its used tennis ball recovery program for a third consecutive year.  The tennis balls recovered will be redistributed to various Quebec schools and school boards to be placed on the legs of students’ chairs.  This initiative, undertaken in response to a real need expressed by schools, seeks to reduce classroom noise and promote a better learning environment for children.

From April 30 to September 20, the Financial Group will be conducting a tour of various Quebec tennis clubs, where it will encourage tennis players to exchange their used tennis balls for new ones. Here is the list of tennis clubs:

  • May 9: InterClub des Laurentides, Piedmont
  • May 14: Sani Sport, Boucherville
  • May 14: Sani Sport, Brossard
