Remarkable start to our fundraising initiative: already more than $675,000 for Haiti - Campaign to continue until February 15, 2010

The various initiatives undertaken by National Bank Financial Group to help earthquake victims in Haiti have been a resounding success: through the joint efforts of the Financial Group, its clients and employees, more than $675,000 has already been raised—an outpouring of generosity that motivates us to strive for even greater heights with this campaign, which will continue until February 15, 2010
The measures put in place by the Financial Group have had a catalyzing effect on support, both in terms of in-branch donations by clients and employees and exchanged MasterCard reward points, which have allowed us to raise some $428,550 to date. To this, a corporate donation of $250,000 will be added, for a grand total of $678,550 to be given to the Canadian Red Cross.

National Bank has taken the following initiatives to support the fundraising efforts of the Canadian Red Cross:
National Bank MasterCard cardholders with À la carte Rewards Plan may, if they wish, exchange their reward points on-line, free of charge, for a cash donation to the Canadian Red Cross at www.nbcrewards.ca or by calling 514-847-8280 or 1-800-341-8083
All donations made at National Bank branches will be sent to the Canadian Red Cross and will be used to provide immediate relief and basic supplies to the victims. The Canadian Red Cross will issue tax receipts for all donations of $10 and over.
