L’Étoile Banque Nationale: the new star of the Quartier Dix30 in Brossard, Quebec

Montreal, 9 September 2010 -

Under a 10-year agreement, the L’Étoile theatre, located in the heart of the Quartier DIX30 in Brossard, will now be known as L’Étoile Banque Nationale. The official unveiling of the theatre’s new identity took place yesterday during the Défilé Clin d’œil, a fashion show presented in this superb facility.

“By lending its name to L’Étoile, National Bank recognizes the high calibre of this institution and the importance of a diverse artistic life. Culture is everywhere and recognizing its different forms encourages creativity, and bold and vivid new talent. Thanks to its wide variety of shows and modern facilities, the Dix30 theatre has become the hub of cultural life on the South Shore,” said Sylvie Roy, Vice-President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at National Bank Financial Group.

Associating its name with such a venue is also a first for National Bank—it is a concrete sign of National Bank Financial Group’s commitment to the economic and cultural well-being of Brossard and area.

Through its donations and sponsorships program and the initiatives of its employees, National Bank Financial Group helps support hundreds of organizations across Canada. It focuses primarily on four main areas of activity—health, education, arts and culture, and community outreach—with the goal of generating positive benefits for communities.
