National Bank Financial Group reaches 2 million dollars in donations to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation

Montreal, 28 October 2010 -

For a fifth straight year, National Bank Financial Group is proud to be a partner in hope with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation and will be making a donation of over $500,000 this year. With this donation, the Financial Group reaches the $2 million mark in total contributions made since 2006 thanks to the holders of the National Bank Allure MasterCard.

The donations from National Bank Financial Group help by funding research, promoting breast health through education and awareness, supporting women living with breast cancer and their loved ones, as well as making a significant contribution to assisting women who may one day be diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Allure card is a credit card designed for women that offers many benefits and discounts, and that helps them help other women. A percentage of the purchases made by cardholders is donated to a cause that directly affects them: breast cancer. In addition, they can enjoy a 10% discount on the purchase of gift cards that can be used at Allure partners such as Banana Republic, Birks, Gap, HomeSense, Old Navy, Pier 1 Imports, Yves Rocher and Winners.
