Redemption for cash of 500 million dollars Series 5 Medium Term Notes

National Bank of Canada (TSX: NA) announced today that it has completed the previously published redemption, for the purpose of cancellation, of all of its Series 5 Medium Term Notes, for 100% of the 500 million dollars principal amount of notes. This redemption, funded solely from the Bank’s general funds, is part of the Bank’s capital management program.
