Diversity is more than just a word.

Title: President and Chief Executive Officer

Diversity is…The way I see it “diversity” isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a fundamental value that is becoming increasingly important in our daily personal interactions, our operations and the way we perceive problems and solutions. It’s also a competitive strength that enriches our relationships with colleagues, clients and the wider community. All of usemployees, managers and members of senior managementexpress diversity every day through our talents, characteristics and different perspectives. Diversity is what makes it possible for each of us to be respected and valued in our careers within the Bank. I want diversity to become an integral part of our culture and for all of us to promote diversity on a daily basis…

A formal commitment: National Bank Management has made a commitment to promote diversity throughout the organization. Business units are responsible for their own diversity strategies and initiatives, and these must be included in each unit’s business plan. Management is committed to respecting individual differences as well as the four groups designated under the Employment Equity Act. Our ultimate goal is to make National Bank an inclusive company that values every one of its employees, regardless of age, sex, culture, religion or sexual identity.
