Our hearts are with our employees

Many of our employees—both current and retired—give generously of their time to support causes that are important to them. In 2005, we created the Our hearts are with you program to celebrate their volunteer work.

The skill, energy and generosity made available to non-profit organizations effects entire communities, and that’s why the program recognizes, rewards and enhances the impact of this volunteer work. The award winners see a financial contribution made in their name to an organization of their choosing.

The $500 Our hearts are with you contribution is paid out to the organization that the volunteer works with.

The Our hearts are with you distinction is awarded to employees and retirees for their exceptional contribution to the life of their community. Each award-winner sees a $1,000 donation paid out to the organization that he or she supports.

The André-Bérard award highlights the outstanding generosity of a Bank employee or retiree, and it is our highest recognition for volunteer work. The Award winner sees a donation of $5,000 paid out to the organization that he or she works with.
