More accessible arts and culture
Whether it’s providing support to a multitude of shows, exhibits or other artistic projects, or supporting local artists through the National Bank Financial Group Art Collection, we are proud to contribute to making art and culture more accessible to all.
Nutcracker Fund for Children
Initiated by les Grands Ballets Canadiens, the Nutcracker Fund for Children seeks to make one of the greatest ballet classics accessible to disadvantaged and sick children. Young persons are invited to take part in visual and literary-arts on themes such as creativity, discovery and the Nutcracker. National Bank is happy to contribute to the cultural awakening of children of the greater Montreal region by helping a number of children attend a performance of this near mythic ballet.
Père Lindsay Foundation – Musical Camp in the Lanaudière region of Quebec
National Bank is proud to be among the principal donors to the Fondation Père Lindsay, which helps musicians between the ages of 9 and 16 broaden their musical horizons. This financing helps the music camp provide hundreds of young people with a chance to explore different facets of music in the Lanaudière region.
DrummondvilleCultural Centre
Donations from National Bank have allowed the Centre culturel de Drummondville to modernize its concert hall as well as its public spaces. The Centre has played an important role in the promotion and accessibility of theatre and visual arts in the city and surrounding area since 1967.
The Banff Centre
The Bank is happy to be able to contribute to the construction of the Kinnear Centre for Creativity and Innovation, a new building destined to become an innovative multidisciplinary teaching environment situated in the heart of its Alberta campus.
