Guide to Banking Solutions for the Self-Employed

SELF-STARTER AND SELF-STARTER PLUS PACKAGES 

These packages remain active for existing holders but are no longer offered.

To help you save on your banking fees, we have designed two packages that give you the option of carrying out a preset number of deposits and other banking transactions each month for a flat monthly fee. See which one best matches your banking profile.

THE SELF-STARTER PACKAGE

For a flat monthly fee of $4.95, you get access to TelNat Telephone Banking Solutions and are entitled to 5 cheques and 10 automated transactions a month from among the following:

• purchase with National Bank Client Card 
• electronic funds transfer (debit or credit)
• deposit at a banking machine (maximum 5 cheques per deposit)
• withdrawal and bill payment at a banking machine
• banking transactions using Personal Internet Banking Solutions
• transfer (debit or credit)
• transfer to another person via Internet (debit or credit).

The following charges apply to additional transactions and to those transactions not included in this package:

• $1.25 for each additional automated transaction
• $1.25 for each additional cheque
• $1.25 for each account transaction carried out at the counter
• user fees for using shared-network banking machines
  • Interac^®1 $1.50/transaction
  • CIRRUS^®3 $3.00/transaction.

For only $2.00 extra per month, you can have your cancelled cheques sent to you.

THE SELF-STARTER PLUS PACKAGE

For a flat monthly fee of $6.95, you get access to TelNat Telephone Banking Solutions, you can carry out your banking transactions using Internet Banking Solutions at no extra cost, and you are entitled to 5 cheques and 15 automated transactions a month from among the following:

• purchase with National Bank Client Card
• electronic funds transfers (debit or credit)
• deposit at a banking machine (maximum 5 cheques per deposit)
• withdrawal and bill payment at a banking machine
• banking transactions using Personal Internet Banking Solutions
• transfer (debit or credit)
• transfer to another person via Internet (debit or credit).

The following fees apply to additional transactions or those not included in the package:
