  • Enter, view and analyze your business expenses in SDG2 using detailed transaction data.
  • Merchants that provide Level II data communicate the sales tax information captured at the point of sale. Sales taxes can then be viewed in SDG2.

2 Grace period: At least 21 days on purchases if you pay your full balance by the due date indicated on your monthly statement (no grace period applies to balance transfers and cash advances). Your minimum payment will correspond to 2.5% of your account balance plus any amount already due or $10, whichever amount is higher. If your account balance is lower than $10, you must pay the entire balance.  If you exceed your credit limit, the amount of the minimum payment will be the highest of the following amounts: (a) 2.5% of the account balance or (b) the amount of the overlimit.

7 The discount applies when you purchase gift cards for Allure partners on It will be applied to the total gift card amount. Gift cards can be purchased in multiples of $25. No discounts will be granted in store upon presentation of an Allure card. Allure card partners are subject to change. Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic gift cards can be redeemed for in-store merchandise only and cannot be replaced in the event of loss or theft. 11 The interest rate for the Syncro card consists of a variable prime rate set by National Bank plus a fixed adjustment rate of 4% for purchases and 8% for balance transfers and cash advances. Please note that the annual interest rate for the Syncro card cannot be less than 8.9% for purchases and 12.9% for balance transfers and cash advances.

12 The net purchase volume is the amount of purchases charged to the account minus returned items or refunds. Annual fees, balance transfers and cash advances are not included in the calculation.

15Guests must present their credit card and boarding pass to access to the National Bank Lounge. Guests cannot spend more than three (3) hours in the Lounge. For National Bank clients who do not have free Lounge access and for additional guests, admission is around $40 for adults and $25 for children, plus tax. Admission is free for children under three. The entry price may change at any time without notice and at the discretion of the Lounge operator.

22 You earn CAA Dollars equal to 1% of eligible purchases made using your CAA Rewards Mastercard credit card. At the end of each month, your CAA Club will receive information on the accumulated CAA Dollars from National Bank. Your CAA Club is responsible for the issuance, administration and redemption of CAA Dollars in accordance with the terms and conditions of the program. CAA Dollars are not earned on cash advances, balance transfers, cash-like transactions, Mastercard cheques, payments, credits, interest charges, foreign exchange fees, credit insurance premiums and other fees and charges. CAA Dollars are not earned on any purchases prohibited by the laws of Canada or any other country. You will qualify to earn CAA Dollars as soon as your card is activated and purchases are made, unless your account is not in good standing, your account has been suspended or terminated, or other qualifications for eligibility are not met.

24 National Bank's prime rate means the annual variable interest rate posted by National Bank, from time to time, and used by the Bank to determine the interest rates on the demand loans it grants in Canadian dollars in Canada.

27 Some of our cards offer a compensation plan in the event of fraud by a cardholder. If necessary, the fraud compensation plan entitles you to a refund limited to the real loss resulting from fraudulent use of the card or account by the cardholder. This plan only applies in the event of fraudulent use by a cardholder who is not also an authorized signatory. The refund amount can be up to $100,000 per account per 12-month period. To use this plan, the company and all authorized signatories must fully collaborate with the Bank and file an official complaint with law enforcement authorities. The application of the fraud protection plan is governed by the conditions set out in section 14 of the credit card agreement. In particular, the plan does not apply if, through negligence, the cardholder contributed to the unauthorized or fraudulent use of the card or account by any person other than a cardholder.
