National Bank Teams up Again with Virginie

Montreal, 13 September 2004 -

With Virginie back for a new season this fall, National Bank is pleased to announce that it will resume its partnership with Les Productions Aetios and Société Radio-Canada, responsible respectively for producing and airing the popular French-language TV series.

Given the huge success of the Virginie Bursary Program in 2003-2004, National Bank is proud to once again offer its support to young people by helping them carry out their special projects and make their dreams come true.  This year, National Bank is the exclusive partner of Mon premier rôle dans Virginie, a contest to cast budding actors in their first TV role on Virginie and a new bursary program to be launched in January 2005.

National Bank wants to play a key role in the community.  This renewed commitment is evidence of the importance it places on learning and of its desire to encourage young people to pursue their education.
