National Bank Golf Tournament Donates $80,000 to 14 Charitable Organizations

Montreal, 16 September 2004 -

Fourteen charitable organizations in the Laval & North Shore, Laurentians and Lanaudière regions will share $80,000 in funds raised at the National Bank golf tournament held on August 30.   The following is a list of organizations that will benefit from the proceeds:

Laval and North Shore regions
Fondation Marcel Vaillancourt, Laval: $5,000
Fondation Armand-Frappier, Laval: $10,000
Fondation des enfants de l'école Jean-Piaget, Laval: $5,000
Centre de bénévolat de Laval, Laval: $5,000
École St-Norbert, Laval: $5,000
Fondation de l'Hôpital St-Eustache, St-Eustache: $5,000
Le Phare – Maison de soins palliatifs, St-Eustache: $5,000
Centre pour l'enfance en santé mentale, St-Eustache: $5,000
Carrefour jeunesse emploie des Moulins, Terrebonne: $5,000

Laurentians
Pallia-Vie, St-Jérôme: $10,000
Maison Aloïs Alzheimer des Laurentides, St-Jérôme: $5,000
Les Grands frères et Grandes sœurs de la Porte du Nord, St-Jérôme: $5,000

Lanaudière
Fondation du Centre hospitalier régional de Lanaudière, St-Charles-Borromée: $5,000
Red Cross – Joliette chapter: $5,000

Pierre Dubreuil, Senior Vice-President – Greater Montreal and Southern Quebec, and Luc Papineau, Senior Vice-President – Sales and Personal Banking, Quebec, were the honorary chairmen of the tournament which was held at the Hillsdale Golf Club at Mirabel.

National Bank is proud that this event could support these 14 organizations and, in turn, the communities they assist.
