National Bank of Canada is celebrating the 110th anniversary of its Paris office this year. This milestone was highlighted yesterday during a joint reception held by the Bank and the Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Canadian Ambassador to France, at the official residence in the company of clients and partners of the Bank as well as dignitaries.

National Bank of Canada's Paris office opened in 1907 and focuses chiefly on supporting businesses who wish to grow their presence and business abroad, whether in Europe or North America.

Quotes:
"National Bank of Canada was founded by Quebec City business people in 1859 and has always been very involved with businesses. Being open to the world, the Bank quickly sought to expand its horizons and Paris became our first international location," pointed out Louis Vachon, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Canada, who then went on to add that "supporting our clients in achieving their business and personal projects is one of our priorities."

"For quite some time, the Embassy has endeavoured to support National Bank of Canada and its clients in the development of their businesses in France. The number and quality of guests here tonight is an eloquent testament to this hard work," added Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Canadian Ambassador to France.
