National Bank initiative to recover tennis balls to continue during the 2007 Rogers Cup
National Bank, a partner of Tennis Canada and the presenting sponsor of the Rogers Cup, would like to thank the thousands of people who participated in its campaign to recover old tennis balls. With their help, its branch network in Quebec collected more than 20,000 balls – quite a feat for an initiative that was launched just this year.
National Bank would like to remind you that old tennis balls can be exchanged for new ones at Uniprix Stadium, the official site of the 2007 Rogers Cup, which will be held from August 4 to 12 in Montreal. Just come to the National Bank booth. But it’s first come, first served! So hurry on over because supplies are limited.
All tennis balls collected as a part of this environmentally conscious initiative will be redistributed to Quebec school boards, which will place them on the legs of students’ chairs to help reduce classroom noise and create a better learning environment for children.
