National Bank computer application honoured at the Canadian Information Productivity Awards

National Bank took Silver at the 2007 Canadian Information Productivity Awards in the Organizational Transformation category for its Client Management Opportunities (CMO) computer application on November 14, in Toronto.

Used by more than 1,900 financial advisors at National Bank, this tool makes it possible to obtain an overview of each client’s individual profile. With this information readily at hand, advisors can propose more personalized services and banking products that better reflect their clients’ needs.

“In addition to improving the effectiveness of our service offering and increasing client satisfaction, implementing this application has enabled the Bank to cut its paper consumption by more than 120 tons a year, which represents approximately 2,750 trees,” stated Alice Keung, Senior Vice-President and Chief Information Officer – Information Technology at National Bank.
