National Bank donates $50,000 to the Literacy Foundation

Montreal, 31 January 2005 -

National Bank is proud to support the Literacy Foundation through a $50,000 contribution.

Today, being able to read and write is not only an important asset, it is a key competency that enables people to excel and enrich their community.  The low literacy among a growing number of Quebecers is a concern for society as a whole.

National Bank is proud to support the Foundation in its efforts to give adults access to essential training in reading and writing skills.
