National Bank supports the 10th anniversary of the Montreal Chamber Music Festival

Montreal, 22 April 2005 -

National Bank is proud to support the 10th anniversary of the Montreal Chamber Music Festival and to sponsor the Classic Series. Under the artistic direction of Denis Brott, this series of 10 concerts will feature well-known musicians and artists performing outstanding works from both classical and contemporary repertoires. Performances will be grouped under themes such as “Le Piano extraordinaire,” “Margie Gillis: Come Dance with Me,” “Gypsy Night” and “Music, Words and Film.”

With its rich programming, the Montreal Chamber Music Festival enjoys a solid reputation as one of the city’s major cultural events. National Bank is pleased to renew its support of the Festival, to be held this year from May 26 to June 18, and to help promote classical music in the community.

Every year, the Bank gives close to $10 million in donations or sponsorships to many health, education, community assistance and cultural organizations.
