National Bank ranks among Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada
National Bank has ranked 15th in the 2005 list of Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada, which recognizes those companies that are best living up to their civil foundation responsibilities.
The Best 50 Corporate Citizens ranking evaluates companies’ performance based on certain key indicators such as tax generation, CEO compensation and board independence. To be ranked among the Best 50 Corporate Citizens, companies must obtain an above-average score in all indicators relating to their sector of activity.
The list of Best 50 Corporate Citizens is drawn up each year by the business magazine Corporate Knights.
