Club Rotary de Lévis Golf Tournament: Over $22,000 raised for the community of Lévis

Montreal, 12 August 2005 -

Yesterday, the Club Rotary de Lévis held its charity golf tournament. Presided over by Louis Vachon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank Financial Group and Chairman of Natcan Investment Management, the 15th edition of the Gaétan Duchesne Classic raised over $22,000.

The Club will use the funds to help the community of Lévis by supporting causes in the areas of health, youth, sports and education.

In 2004, the Bank and its subsidiaries, through corporate donations, sponsorships, in-branch fundraising activities and various benefit events, gave $12 million to hundreds of Canadian education, health care, cultural and community organizations.
