This spring, female solidarity is alluring! National Bank donates $256,905 to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation
The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is pleased with the tremendous response Quebec women have given to the National Bank’s Allure MasterCard. After only one year, the Bank was able to donate $256,905 to the Foundation, thanks to the purchases made by its Allure cardholders.
“Unfortunately, breast cancer is still affecting too many women. One in nine women will be diagnosed with cancer during her lifetime. Since 1994, the Foundation has given over $10 million for research. Financial support from companies such as National Bank enables the Foundation to honour its commitment to different research projects in Quebec. Initiatives of this kind give us hope that one day life without cancer will be a reality,” stated Cynthia Price-Verreault, Chairman of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
“At National Bank, we are particularly attuned to women’s concerns. With the Allure MasterCard credit card, we are offering a generous payment solution that gives clients the best of both worlds: attractive discounts on purchases made at numerous stores, and a contribution to a cause that touches everyone. This donation to the Foundation is equal to a percentage of the sales made by Allure cardholders since the card was launched last year,” explained Réjean Lévesque, Senior Vice-President – Retail Financial Solutions.
The Allure of MasterCard
Designed specifically for women, the National Bank Allure MasterCard offers a 10% discount on purchases at over 250 participating retail outlets, including San Francisco, Terra Nostra, La Vie en Rose, Aqua, marie claire boutiques, marie claire week-end, Claire France 14 plus, CF, Émotions and Epiderma. Other partners also offer attractive promotions. To remind women of their support for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, the card bears a pink ribbon, the Foundation’s logo.
