National Bank publishes its 2007 Social Responsibility Report
National Bank has released its 2007 Social Responsibility Report describing its involvement in the community and the many activities undertaken to meet the needs of its clients, employees and shareholders.
In 2007, National Bank and its subsidiaries gave more than $20 million, in the form of donations, sponsorships and monies raised through in-branch fundraisers and charity events, to hundreds of Canadian organizations working mainly in the fields of community outreach, health, education, the arts and culture.
The Social Responsibility Report also contains concrete examples of the Bank’s commitment to governance, its individual and commercial clients, employees, the environment, the community and the economy.
