National Bank Financial Group campaign to recover used tennis balls: 2008 results
National Bank Financial Group is pleased to present the results of its second campaign to recover used tennis balls. A total of 63,410 used tennis balls were collected thanks to the efforts of participating branches and the generosity of thousands of Quebecers.
All tennis balls collected as part of this environmentally conscious initiative will be redistributed to Quebec schools to be placed on the legs of students’ chairs. This action, undertaken in response to a real need expressed by our schools, seeks to reduce classroom noise and promote a better learning environment for our children.
In 2007, the Bank’s branches collected 53,500 used balls, which were given to more than 150 primary schools across Quebec.
