National Bank welcomes Louise Laflamme to its Board of Directors
National Bank has announced that Louise Laflamme joined its Board of Directors on November 3, 2008. This brings the number of Directors to 15, including four women.
Since the start of her professional career in 1973, Ms. Laflamme has worked for a number of well-known companies where she has held various positions, in particular in internal audit and financial management.
Ms. Laflamme comes to the Bank after 11 years at the Montréal Exchange where she most recently held the position of Executive Vice-President and Advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer after serving as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. She also worked 12 years at the accounting firm Raymond, Chabot, Martin, Paré & Associés. Ms. Laflamme is a Certified General Accountant and has been a member of the Ordre professionnel des comptables généraux licenciés du Québec since 1977.
National Bank is pleased to welcome Ms. Laflamme to its Board of Directors where she will also serve on the Audit and Risk Management Committee. Given her solid experience in accounting, finance and management in a regulated context, Ms. Laflamme is certain to contribute extensively to the mission of the Board and the Bank’s sound corporate governance practices.
