A new stock index dedicated to Quebec-based companies: The National Bank Quebec IndexTM
National Bank Financial Group is announcing the launch of a Quebec-made stock index, the National Bank Quebec IndexTM reflecting the performance of Common Shares or Units of Income Trusts of Quebec-based companies. To be eligible in the Index, companies must be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and are required to have a minimum float of $150 million and a minimum share price of $1. The weight of each constituent is capped at 5% at each rebalancing date to occur twice a year in April and in October.
