National Bank Among Montreal’s Top Employers
For the third year in a row, National Bank has been named among Montreal’s Top Employers, a regional edition of Canada’s Top 100 Employers presented annually by Toronto publisher Mediacorp Canada Inc. The regional edition was created in 2006 to recognize Montreal-based businesses with exceptional practices, based on eight key areas including training and skills development, employee communications, performance management and community involvement.
“The Bank takes great pride in developing outstanding human resources practices. The One client, one bank transformation includes a focus on behaviours such as teamwork, mutual respect and open communication between employees and managers. I am proud to see that, in an ever-changing business context, these values are recognized in this most recent ranking,” stated Lynn Jeanniot, Executive Vice-President of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs at National Bank.
In addition to its corporate culture, social responsibility as well as the company’s strength are other factors that enabled National Bank to once again make the list of Montreal’s Top Employers. National Bank was selected from among a group of over 3,250 participating companies.
