National Bank expands its suite of mobile banking solutions with two new innovative apps

National Bank is expanding its suite of mobile banking solutions by launching two new apps for tablets: NBC mobile banking, to help users manage their banking and MyIdea, for planning short-, mid- and long-term projects.

These new tools, with their ergonomic interface and sleek design, were developed for do-it-yourselfers. Users can quickly see the information they need to make a decision, but they can still turn to the Bank for expert advice.

“Our clients are becoming increasingly savvy when it comes to personal finance matters. They ask questions, do their homework and research their options. So we designed apps to help them start on their projects and once they're ready to go ahead, they can turn to our advisors for added support,” stated Yann Jodoin, Senior Vice-President – Client Strategy and Retail Solutions at National Bank.

The NBC mobile banking app has intuitive navigation that lets users see their portfolio at a glance. They can check their latest transactions, track their spending, pay bills, transfer funds, not to mention order foreign currency for delivery to their home or the National Bank branch of their choice.

For its part, MyIdea is an app that is designed to help people put their ideas into action, whether they are planning home renovations, a trip or even their retirement. This tool will guide them through the steps and give them tips to turn their project into reality. Once they have worked out a clear plan, they can ask to have an expert at the Bank contact them if they need help.
