National Bank again ranked among the Best Employers in Quebec
National Bank is proud to be listed among the Best Employers in Quebec for the fourth time, earning it a place among a handful of companies to make the list each year since it was created in 2012.
Based primarily on the results of a survey conducted by Aon Hewitt of National Bank employees, this recognition measures the engagement of employees and their appreciation of the key factors responsible for this engagement, namely, satisfaction with management, the efficiency of human resources management, productivity boosting initiatives, as well as recognition. In addition to this survey, a survey on human resources management practices and a survey of its officers, were also conducted. An organization's ranking on the list of Best Employers is determined by the combined results of these three studies.
“At National Bank, we make employee engagement a priority. We continuously strive to advance our practices and align them even more closely with employees' needs,” stated Lynn Jeanniot, Executive Vice-President – Human Resources and Corporate Affairs. “This recognition proves the success of our actions and pushes us all the more to create a work environment that is increasingly inclusive and enriching.”
With close to 20,000 employees, National Bank enjoys an enviable reputation as a top employer in Quebec. The Bank's many initiatives and concrete commitments attest to its contribution to sustainable community development. Recognized on three occasions as one of the greenest banks in the world and a longstanding partner of many organizations dedicated to promoting diversity, most notably the Fondation Émergence and the Laurent-McCutcheon Award, the Bank can also boast one of the highest proportions of women in senior management in the entire Canadian banking industry.
Over the years, the Bank has received numerous accolades for its distinctive human resources practices. One such honour was its recent inclusion among the 50 Best Employers in Canada for the 10th time.
