Diane Giard once again named among Canada's most powerful women
National Bank is pleased to announce that, for the second year in a row, Diane Giard, Executive Vice-President – Personal and Commercial Banking, is among Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100, in the Corporate Executives category. This award is presented annually by the Women's Executive Network (WXN) to celebrate the professional achievements of women who have become leaders in their field.

Diane Giard is a true pioneer and throughout her career she has helped pave the way for women in the financial services sector. She is also deeply involved in many causes, particularly in the fields of culture, health and community outreach. In 2015, Diane joined the second cohort of L’effet A, an innovative project that aims to spark ambition in women. She has been recognized six times as one of the Top 25 people in Quebec’s financial industry and has also received the Diamond Jubilee Medal for her contribution to society.
