This competition, organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc., recognizes 50 Canadian employers who have developed exceptional inclusiveness programs for employees from five major groups: women, members of visible minorities, persons with disabilities, Aboriginal peoples, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual (LGBT) peoples.

On June 18, 2007, National Bank received the Maurice Pollack Award in the “private sector enterprises or organizations” category as part of the 9th edition of the Quebec Awards for Citizenship. This award highlights the efforts of businesses that support equal access to employment for Quebecers from cultural communities and visible minorities and the adaptation of services in the workplace.
