UPDATES OF THE LEGAL DOCUMENTATION
In Quebec: The following four documents have been updated and will be effective as of February 27, 2017: Mandate to notary immovable hypothec, Preliminary report and request for disbursement by the notary, Notary’s final report, and Additional instructions to notaries for construction hypothec financing / renovation / new construction house.

In Canada (excluding Quebec): The following four documents have been updated and will be effective as of February 27, 2017: General instructions for lawyers, Preliminary report and request for disbursement, Final report, and Additional instructions to lawyers, including notaries in British Colombia, for construction mortgage financing / renovation / new construction house.
For any mandates (Quebec and Canada) received prior to that date, you must finalize the transaction using the old forms that are dated April 4, 2016. However, for all mandates received on or after February 27, 2017, the new version of the documents must be used. Thank you for your kind cooperation.

ATTENTION! NOTICE TO LEGAL PROFESSIONALS WISHING TO SEND US DOCUMENTS TO MISSISSAUGA
