Legal notes

1 Subject to credit approval by National Bank. As an example, a package holder can potentially save up to $1,091 per year. This figure is based on the typical profile of a package holder who has the following: a banking package equivalent to The Total® package, a National Bank All-In-One Banking™ mortgage line of credit with a current annual balance of $150,000, and a personal line of credit with a current annual balance of $25,000, all with a good credit rating from credit bureaus.

The savings were calculated as follows: a monthly transaction fee of $7.95 instead of $25.95 included in The Total® package (annual savings of $216), plus an annual 0.25% discount on the All-In-One Banking line of credit rate (annual savings of $375), plus an annual 2.00% discount on the personal line of credit rate (annual savings of $500). These discounts represent the difference between what a client who is not a package holder might have and what a package holder might have. Some eligibility requirements apply; for more details, go to nbc.ca/business-professional. These potential savings may not match your net savings, as they vary according to your financial situation.

2 Bank account with chequing privileges.

3 Subject to credit approval by National Bank of Canada. Certain conditions apply. Grace period: No interest will be charged on the purchases made during the month if the balance is paid in full within twenty-one (21) days of the date of the statement. This grace period does not apply to cash advances and balance transfers. Minimum payment: Your minimum payment will correspond to 3% of your account balance plus any amount already due or $10, whichever amount is higher. If your account balance is lower than $10, you must pay the entire balance. If you exceed your credit limit, the amount of the minimum payment will be the highest of the following amounts: (a) 3% of the account balance or (b) the amount of the overlimit. Account statement: a statement of account is sent on a monthly basis.

5 Financing subject to credit approval by National Bank. Certain conditions apply.

6 National Bank reserves the right to cancel, without notice, the discounts and other advantages offered with the financial package if the client closes his eligible bank account or cancels his eligible MasterCard account and replaces them with a bank account or MasterCard account that is not eligible for the package.

7 Subject to credit approval by National Bank. As an example, a package holder can potentially save up to $342 per year. This figure is based on the typical profile of a package holder who has the following: a banking program equivalent to The Total® program (The Total® is available for a monthly cost of $16 to full-time postsecondary students age 18 to 24; other banking packages and programs are also available) and a bank-authorized Student Line of Credit with guarantor with a current annual balance of $30,000.

The savings were calculated as follows: no monthly transaction fees included in the Total® program (annual savings of $192), plus an annual 0.50% discount on the Student Line of Credit rate (annual savings of $150). These discounts represent the difference between what a client who is not a package holder might have and what a package holder might have. Some eligibility requirements apply; for more details, go to nbc.ca/business-student. These potential savings may not match your net savings, as they vary according to your financial situation.

8 Two years after the card is issued, the annual fee in effect at that time will be billed automatically and will appear on the account statement of the Platinum MasterCard. On February 1, 2015, the annual fee was $125. Offer not renewable.
