How do I consent to and activate Interac e-Transfer®?


When you consent to the use of Interac e-Transfer®, you agree to the terms of use for the service, and you provide an email address that Interac can use to communicate with you about the service. You also select your preferred language of communication during this step.

 

Here’s how to do it:
 

  1. Sign in to online banking for business.

  2. In the Administration section of the menu, select Other administration options.

  3. In the Others section of the main menu, select Interac e-Transfer® profile.

  4. Read the Interac e-Transfer® service terms of use.

  5. Enter the email address that will receive communications from Interac about the service, and select your preferred communication language.

  6. Check the box to accept the terms of use, then select Next to activate Interac e-Transfer.

 

Good to know:
 

  • After activating the Interac e-Transfer service, you’ll be directed to add a recipient. Once that step is done, you can start sending money by Interac e-Transfer.
     

  • To set up and use Autodeposit to receive money, select Administrator options from the top right menu, then select Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit to get started.
