Are you collecting my biometric data?

As explained in our new privacy policy:

  • You’ll have to give your consent for us to collect your biometric data. For example, if you want to use the facial recognition option to open an account online.
  • Biometric data is only ever collected on a voluntary basis.

 

Notes:

  • We don’t collect any biometric data when you use your fingerprint or facial recognition to sign in to the National Bank app.
  • These features are already offered by your cellphone.

 

Our new privacy policy aims to provide you with more transparency about the collection and use of your personal information.
