A Short Code is either 5 or 6 digits long and displays as the sender or the receiver of a text message to a mobile device. Short codes are owned and administered by the US Wireless Telecommunications Association.

  • emergencies and events

Text messages will be sent according to the extent of the consent that you provide to Natbank. For example, you may provide your consent by:

  • Sending a text message from your mobile device to a Natbank-designated number;
  • Managing your text message preferences through a Natbank-designated webpage;
  • Making a verbal request to a Natbank representative;
  • Making a written request through a Natbank-designated document.

For information about each type of text message that you may receive, including instructions on how to opt in, opt out, manage preferences, or obtain assistance, consult the description of each type of message below:

Account and personal alerts

Text messages related to account and personal alerts content are sent from the alert short code [37-268] and may concern:

  • an authentication process related to the verification of your identity;
  • a confirmation related to the use of your selected Natbank products and services;
  • a detection of an event related to your selected Natbank products and services;
  • a personalized message based on your profile and/or activity.

To stop receiving these text messages, text STOP.

To receive assistance, text HELP or INFO.

To sign up or to continue receiving messages after previously opting out, text ALERTS to the alert short code [37-268].

Message frequency and nature vary based on account activity and the preferences you set. To manage these text messages, text HELP or INFO.

Emergencies and events

Text messages related to emergencies and events are sent from the emergencies and events short code and may concern:

  • emergencies at your local branch;
  • events hosted at your local branch.

To stop receiving these text messages, text STOP.

To receive assistance, text HELP or INFO.

To sign up or to continue receiving messages after previously opting out, text an approved keyword to the alert short code.

Message frequency and nature vary based on account activity and the preferences you set. To manage these text messages, please text HELP or INFO to the short code.

3. Natbank does not charge for the sending or receipt of text messages, but standard messaging and data fees may be charged by your carrier. For further details concerning what your carrier may charge, please consult your plan. Your carrier and Natbank are not liable for delayed or undelivered text messages.

Additional carriers may be added.

    T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
