Why do I have to create a question and answer when I add a recipient?

When you create a recipient, your question and answer are saved automatically. This means that you won't have to repeat this step for each transfer to that recipient.
 

We recommend that you avoid special characters and use the language chosen for communicating with your recipients.

Good to know:

If a recipient has set up Autodeposit, they won't need to answer a security question to receive your money, even though you defined a security question and answer when you added them as a payee. Money sent to a recipient with Autodeposit will automatically be deposited into the recipient’s account.
