Graduates
Capital Markets Corporate & Investment Banking Juniors’ Development Program
Each year, the Corporate and Investment Banking sector hires several new recruits, mainly from the pool of our former interns who have recently graduated. They are offered a chance to be part of a cohort of new hires, who will together begin their career in banking.
A training period of several weeks will be offered at the beginning of your journey. You and the other recruits will have the opportunity to learn and perfect your technical knowledge, develop your communication skills, and become familiar with the Corporate and Investment Banking and Capital Markets ecosystem at National Bank, via various meetings and presentations with the teams.
Following this 4-week training, you will join the ranks of one of the teams as an Analyst. Your professional development will continue throughout the following years, notably through formalized training, mentorship, leadership, and career exploration opportunities.
Everything is in place for you to be able to grow in your position and take it to the next level!
Capital Markets Sales & Trading Rotation Program
For those successful students that have completed a National Bank Sales & Trading internship the previous summer and have graduated from university, there is an opportunity to transition to our full-time Sales & Trading Rotation Program upon graduation.
Over the course of several months, you will have opportunities to further develop and learn additional skillsets needed during your desk rotations and have a mentor that will help guide you during your program. Coupled with these insights, you will put your knowledge to use with hands-on exposure and real-time experiences within the various business units in Sales & Trading.
Some of the business units include Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Research, Fixed Income, Institutional Equities, Foreign Exchange, and Derivatives.
Upon successful completion of the Rotation Program, with the experiences and knowledge you have gained, you will then transition to your full-time permanent desk placement and jump start your career!
