About

Bich-Thanh Ngo is Vice-President – Business Strategy. She is responsible for identifying business strategies that will sustain and enhance Capital Markets’ competitive positioning and works closely with the teams within the sector to oversee the implementation of these strategies. Ms. Ngo also monitors the strategic development of Capital Markets’ direct competitors and analyzes emerging trends and innovations among indirect competitors.

 

Ms. Ngo began her career at the Bank in 2010 and held various positions in the Finance department. In 2018, she became Senior Manager in the Financial Performance Management team where she supported Capital Markets in optimizing financial resources, making strategic and operational decisions, and ensuring the governance of accounting and financial information.

 

Ms. Ngo is a member of the board of National Bank Life Insurance and chairs its Audit Committee since 2021. She is also co-leader for Capital Markets on the Bank’s Inclusion and Diversity Council.

 

Ms. Ngo holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance from HEC Montréal. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA® and completed the Ambition Challenge of The A Effect in 2018.
