Sean St-John

Sean St-John is Executive Vice-President, Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income and Co-Head of Risk Management Solutions.

Mr. St-John joined National Bank in 1996, as Head of Corporate Trading. He spearheaded the growth of the firm’s institutional corporate bond trading business. He took over the Debt Capital Markets business in 2008 and was named Co-Head of Fixed Income, one year later. In 2012, he joined the Capital Markets Management Committee and in 2015, became the sole head of Fixed Income and Equity Capital Markets.

Mr. St-John is on the Canadian Advisory Board for Right to Play, the Board of Governors for Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer and is a Board Member & the Chairman of the Equity & Inclusion Committee of the Children's Aid Foundation.

Mr. St-John has a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Business Administration from York University.
