How do I change the authentication method from password to SecurID token?
To change a user’s authentication method, you must be an administrator or an authorized user with SecurID token access.
You can then change the authentication method from a password to a SecurID token by following these steps :
- Sign in to online banking for business.
- In the left menu under Administration, click Manage access.
- Select the tab Users and permissions.
- Enter the user’s name, family name or user code in the search bar, then select the user.
- Click Change permissions.
- Click Change authentication method.
- Under the Authentication section, select With SecurID token.
- Select an available token from the list. If no token is available, you’ll have to order one.
- Click Confirm.
If you need to give the user signature access for wire transfers :
- Click Home.
- In the left menu of the home screen, under Administration, click Manage access.
- Select the tab Users and permissions.
- Enter the name, family name or user code in the search bar then select the user.
- Click Change permissions, then Manage other permissions.
- In the dropdown menu for Modify a user, select Wires.
- Under the section Wire transfers, check the box next to Signature.
- Click Confirm twice to save the changes.
