How do I accept and deposit an Interac e-Transfer®?

If you’ve received money by Interac e-Transfer, you can accept and deposit the money by answering the sender’s security question.

 

You can also set up Autodeposit to make receiving money easier. Money sent to your chosen email address or mobile number will be automatically accepted and deposited into your account—no (security) questions asked.

1. To send an Interac e-Transfer®, you need to sign up for online banking for business, and know the email address or phone number of the person you're sending the money to. The recipient must have an online bank account at a participating Canadian financial institution.
