National Bank Opens Offices in The Exchange building in Vancouver

Montreal, November 5, 2018

A $10 million investment to increase its presence in the region

On November 1, 2018, National Bank celebrated the inauguration of its new offices at The Exchange building, in the heart of Vancouver's financial district. Members of the Office of the President representing Commercial Banking and Wealth Management were on hand to highlight the event together with a number of employees and clients.

National Bank occupies five floors in the building located at 475 Howe Street in Vancouver where it can now consolidate all its personal banking, commercial banking and wealth management services under one roof. “The Bank has invested $10 million in its new offices, which clearly signals our ambition to step up our activities in Western Canada and offer our clients a complete line of banking and investment services,” stated Martin Gagnon, Co-President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of National Bank Financial and Executive Vice-President – Wealth Management at National Bank.

The Bank, which has 300 employees in British Columbia, is also socially involved in the community, working mostly with the B.C. Lions Society for Children with Disabilities.
