National Bank has inaugurated a colourful construction fence surrounding over 300 feet at the site of its future head office, at the intersection of Robert-Bourassa Boulevard and Saint-Jacques Street. Additionally, the Bank officially launched its #CelebratingOurDiversity campaign, in the presence of Louis Vachon, President and CEO of National Bank, several members of senior management, employees and partners.
- The #CelebratingOurDiversity campaign was launched to benefit the Fondation Émergence.
- People are invited to take a selfie in front of the fence and share it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #CelebratingOurDiversity and #nbcdonation. The Bank will donate $1 to the Fondation Émergence for each selfie shared, up to a maximum of $25,000 or until the end of the campaign on October 1, 2019.
"Our construction fence project reflects our desire to enhance the site of our future head office and promote diversity and inclusion, values that are very important to us," stated Louis Vachon, President and CEO of National Bank. "People are invited to take selfies in front of the fence and share them on social media. The Bank will donate $1 to the Fondation Émergence for each selfie shared, up to a maximum of $25,000. "
"National Bank values diversity and inclusion in all its aspects through concrete actions. For example, we promote inclusive HR practices, and we've had an internal network for years, operated by employees from these communities and their allies, as well as strong partners such as Fondation Émergence, with whom we've collaborated for over 10 years," highlighted Martin Gagnon, Executive Vice-President – Wealth Management and Chair of our Executive Committee on Diversity and Inclusion at National Bank.
