How do I change the authentication method from password to SecurID token?


To change a user’s authentication method, you must be an administrator or an authorized user with SecurID token access.

 

You can then change the authentication method from a password to a SecurID token by following these steps :

 

  1. Sign in to online banking for business.
  2. In the left menu under Administration, click Manage access.
  3. Select the tab Users and permissions.
  4. Enter the user’s name, family name or user code in the search bar, then select the user.
  5. Click Change permissions.
  6. Click Change authentication method.
  7. Under the Authentication section, select With SecurID token.
  8. Select an available token from the list. If no token is available, you’ll have to order one.
  9. Click Confirm.

 

If you need to give the user signature access for wire transfers :

 

  1. Click Home.
  2. In the left menu of the home screen, under Administration, click Manage access.
  3. Select the tab Users and permissions.
  4. Enter the name, family name or user code in the search bar then select the user.
  5. Click Change permissions, then Manage other permissions.
  6. In the dropdown menu for Modify a user, select Wires.
  7. Under the section Wire transfers, check the box next to Signature.
  8. Click Confirm twice to save the changes.
