IG Wealth Management, Canada Life and National Bank of Canada end their banking partnership under the Solutions Banking brand.

As of today, you own one or more National Bank products offered through Solutions BankingTM. Starting June 1, 2023, these products will be available under the National Bank banner.

 

Starting June 1, 2023:

As of this date, you will continue to receive support for current products. However, new products under the Solutions Banking brand will no longer be available.

All products and services including correspondences, debit cards, online banking and support lines will be under the National Bank brand.  When you renew or replace your debit card, your new card will have the National Bank logo.

Depending on which banking product you may have, please refer to the relevant sections of this document for specific changes.   

Please note our goal is to keep you informed to ensure a pleasant transition experience. Therefore, no additional actions are required on your part.

Here's how you can sign up for the online bank, from any device:

  1. Go to the sign-in page. 

  2. Under First time signing in?, click Create your account

  3. Select one of the National Bank financial products you own (debit card, credit card, loan, mortgage, investment account). 

  4. Follow the instructions.

IBS

  • Open a session on PIBS
  • Go to “My profile” by clicking on your name in the top right corner
  • Click on the “Preferences” tab 
  • Select “Manage my statements, notices and documents”

 

Mobile

  • Connect to the mobile app
  • Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner
  • Go to “My preferences”
  • Select “Manage my statements and shared documents”

Credit card holder

As of June 1, 2023, all credit card replacements requested or issued will be under the National Bank brand.

The number of the associated certificate of insurance will be replaced by that of National Bank. You’ll continue to benefit from the same insurance coverage.

If you have credit card payment insurance on your current card, this coverage will automatically transfer to your replacement card. If a claim is in progress when your card is replaced, your file will be processed normally without any additional action required on your part.

Financing products

Starting May 31, 2023, we’ll continue to support your existing products. However, new products under this brand will no longer be available.

Line of credit
No change to the transactions allowed with your existing line of credit.

Personal loan, RRSP and investments
No change for the remaining duration of your loan.

Contact us if you would like to change the payment frequency, make a payment in full or a payment on principal for example.

Mortgage
No change for the remaining duration of your mortgage. The Bank will contact you to renew the mortgage when it expires.

All-In-One mortgage line of credit 
No change to the transactions allowed with your existing All-In-One line of credit.

Contact us if you want to open a sub-account or convert a portion of your line of credit into a mortgage loan for example.
